Following the end of the "Commentary" final comment and the final reaction of the chemical equation popular network, recently, Hong Yan, a teacher who wrote the final comment in the form of "portrait" for 39 classmates in the class, got on Weibo, and was praised by netizens for "interest" "lovely".
The post-85 teacher is a first-grade math teacher and class teacher in Hangzhou Jingcheng Experimental School. He has been teaching for 9 years and has 3 years of class teacher experience. On January 9, Hong Yan was interviewed by a reporter from Nandu and told the story behind the portrait. Hong Yan said that she was only interested in painting. She used the spare time to complete these paintings for a semester. At the beginning, she wanted to record the children in this form because she was "face blind". "Painting and painting, I feel more and more aware of students. During the teaching process, my heart is softer."
Origin of "face blindness", takes one semester
Nandu: Why draw a portrait for each child?
Hong Yan: The reason is probably because my face is blind. I received this class in September 19th. When I was in the new class, I felt that as a class teacher, the most important thing was to immediately remember each child, but my ability to remember names was weak. I think the main reason is that I don't know enough about them, so after school every day, I "force" myself to try to remember the scenes with the children during the day, and then associate the children with their names.
Once I had a whimsy-could I draw the child? When I tried to draw a child, I found that he or she jumped into my mind vividly. A few days later, I casually drew a few sketches in the WeChat circle of friends, and my colleagues felt very creative after seeing it, which further strengthened my thinking. I decided to continue painting.
At the beginning, I drew sketches. When I tried to paint, the characteristics of children became more and more obvious. When I can't draw a child, I force myself to observe the child. Later, I started to enjoy the process slowly.
Nandu: Have you studied painting systematically? How long did it take to complete these portraits?
Hong Yan: I am not a professional learner of painting. I usually paint occasionally. I usually paint after school. Each painting takes about half an hour. I will compare the pictures I took to the children and their impressions in my mind.
It took about a semester to draw slowly, so the front was drawn longer. This is a natural process, and I did not take it as a task that must be completed. Painting and painting, the end of the expiration, thinking of a picture + a sentence as a comment, the right to be the children's New Year's gift, this is the first time to write comments in this more innovative form.
I hope that the evaluation given to the children is warm, and the most important thing is that each child can see their own advantages, and that each child can feel that they are cared for and concerned by the teacher. I think the soul is like a field, good qualities are like rice, bad habits are like weeds. The more rice is planted, the more weeds lose their growing fields.
Nandu: Did the students see these paintings? How do they evaluate?
Hong Yan: The students haven't seen it yet, and I don't know yet. I will send it when I return to school on January 17. I have posted it in the circle of friends before, so parents have seen it, and I am very grateful for my dedication to my children. Actually, I want to thank my parents. It was my parents' cooperation and tolerance during this semester that allowed me to implement my ideas more boldly and boldly.
There are many stories behind the portrait.
Nandu: Are there any memorable stories behind these portraits?
Hong Yan: I think every portrait seems to be a small movie with a story that belongs to the child. I looked at these cards, and they smiled, their every move, their joy and sorrow appeared in my mind. Drawing portraits made children no longer a name to me and made my heart softer.
For example, classmate Z, was a very timid child at first. I'm always cautious, afraid to accidentally make her cry. Until one day I started painting her, and I found her little eyes revealing a firmness. She doesn't seem as timid as she looks, she is brave.
Little X is a capable child, occasionally a little naughty, or may have some small contradictions with other children. It wasn't until one of the home visits that I talked with my child's parents that I found Xiao X very sensible and wanted to be the best. So when I started to draw X, what was printed in my mind was his proud eyes and logo movements every time he accepted the award.
Little W is a restrained girl who frowns occasionally. When I was thinking, I had to find a cheerful moment for her to paint. I was alert when I found that I was unconsciously asking students with a set of standards. Thinking of this, I painted her shy, restrained smile. I also want to tell her whether to be introverted or extroverted.
Nandu: How do you get along with students?
Hong Yan: The students and I are usually a teacher and friend. First-year children's habits are very important, so I will use various methods to guide children when and what to do. I will give a lot of recognition to the children's good work. I will also listen to what the children say when they are out of class. Hold a child or something. If the child does something wrong, I will also tell him very carefully what he did wrong and how to correct it. The children in our class are very sensible. I often have to do homework assignments and give questions to the children when they are out of class. At this time, the children will play by themselves and will not disturb me.
Surprised by popularity, saying colleagues are "eighteen martial arts"
Nandu: Are you surprised by this "popularity"?
Hong Yan: It's quite unexpected, because the colleagues around me are thinking of various ways to make the child feel that they are concerned. For example, we have a new class teacher. During the trip, we heard that we are going to take over a new class, so we returned from the local area with a pile of beautiful stones, as a gift for each freshman; and the teacher recorded the child ’s affairs. There are a lot of books, and we have teachers' final comments to prepare a photo for the child + a few keywords, which is also very interesting. I'm actually just an ordinary member, and my lovely colleague is an 18th martial arts city.
Nandu: What do you expect in the new year ?
Hong Yan: I hope my children can "know health, learn well and live" like the school hopes, and be proud of themselves in such a class and in such a school. I also hope that I can go one step further in terms of teaching ability.
